The BruinLife yearbook has been the official record of history and tradition at UCLA since the 1919-1920 school year, when the Southern Branch of the University of California became UCLA (the yearbook was called "Southern Campus" until 1983).

The yearbook has garnered a number of industry awards through the years, including recognition in national competitions more than 30 times. BruinLife's editor is Christine Park.
